SEMS, Inc. (SEMS) is an environmental management and specialties services firm that offers a full range of capabilities to assist industries in complying with federal, state, and local environmental regulations. SEMS was founded in 1992 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, which serves as our corporate office. From there we expanded and opened an office in Nashville, TN in 1993; an office in Memphis, TN in 1995; and an office in New Orleans in 2000. As we did in the beginning, SEMS maintains a high level of customer service and is responsive to the individual needs of each client, whether for small or larger scale projects. We have also maintained minimal operational costs throughout the growth process in order to remain cost competitive for every type and size project. Our Company offers environmental management services to our clients in 6 major categories including: Remediation/Construction, Demolition, Industrial Services, Storage Tank Services, Engineering and Consulting, and Specialty Services. SEMS has or is currently working for clients who do business in the following areas: Petrochemical Plants; Pipeline Companies; Industrial Facilities; Oil Marketers;Refineries; Manufacturing Companies; Banking Institutions; Legal Organizations; Real Estate Companies; Local, State, and Federal Agencies; and Transportation Related Companies SEMS supports its clients in complying with the following federal and state regulations such as Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA); Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA); Superfund Amendment and Reauthorization Act (SARA); Clean Water Act (CWA); Clean Air Act (CAA); Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA); and Oil Pollution Act (OPA).
