Thornton Laboratories is an independent laboratory that provides general analytical, sampling, inspection and consulting services. The company serves a variety of local, national and international clients in agriculture, industry and environmental programs. With consistent growth since the company s founding in Tampa, Fla., in 1922, Thornton Laboratories has continuously expanded its laboratory capabilities and services. In addition, continued involvement with new techniques and the latest in scientific equipment has enabled Thornton to be one of the leaders in meeting the demands of a rapidly advancing community with serious environmental concerns. In 1972, the company entered the international trade market and, through Thornton International Services Division, brings surveying and inspection services to an international clientele on a worldwide basis. Thornton Laboratories is based in a 15,000-square-foot facility in Tampa.
