The daily mission of the Veterinary Hospital of Dillon is to provide high quality, compassionate medical and surgical care to patients, and friendly, informative service to owners.

The Veterinary Hospital of Dillon focuses on the well being, optimal health care, and disease prevention of companion animals, large animals, and horses. We provide an array of services utilizing state-of-the-art procedures and equipment. Our normal business hours are Monday through Friday, and most Saturday mornings. We are also available after-hours for emergencies.

Dr. Derek Brown:
A graduate of Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Derek Brown was born and raised in Eastern Nebraska with a lifelong love for animals. He moved to central Montana in 1997 and spent two years in a mixed animal practice. Shortly thereafter, he began his own veterinary relief business serving several clinics in Montana and Wyoming. Derek and his wife, Lynn, bought the Veterinary Hospital of Dillon in the summer of 2000. In addition to his practice, Derek enjoys fishing, hunting, alpine skiing, and most other outside activities.

Dr. Lynn Brown:
Dr. Lynn Brown graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. She was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Brown worked in a multi-doctor small animal practice in Blue Springs, Missouri, until she married Dr. Derek Brown and moved to central Montana in 1997. Dr. Brown was employed at The Animal Center in Helena, Montana until 2000. At that time she and her husband, Derek, purchased the Veterinary Hospital of Dillon. Dr. Lynn Brown's interests are in Internal Medicine and Ophthalmology. In her free time she enjoys cooking, skiing, four-wheeling and spending time with her golden retriever, Lexie, and her cat Oscar.
