Beech Brook

Headquartered in Pepper Pike, Ohio, Beech Brook, an adoption agency, was established in 1852. The organization provides variety of mental health programs and treatment strategies for emotionally disturbed children. Its mental health programs include residential and day treatment for elementary through middle school-aged children; foster care for children of all ages; adoption placement and support for children and sibling groups; family preservation programs, parent support and education; parenting programs and assertive community treatment. The program also includes spaulding adoption, peer support and educational programs; and dual diagnosis substance abuse services. The outpatient services include diagnostic assessment; psychiatric consultation; individual, group, family and multifamily therapies; crisis intervention and safety planning; therapy using play and creative expression; case management and community support.
