FSW is one of Connecticut s oldest and most comprehensive private, nonprofit human services agencies. The agency serves more than 23,000 clients each year. The agency provides a wide range of social and community services, including deaf outreach services, empowering people for success programs, the Fairfield Senior Center, financial education programs, the Grasmere Eldercare Center, HIV/AIDS victim services, literacy programs, a wide range of mental health services, several psychiatric rehabilitation programs, and a full slate of youth development services and programs. In addition, FSW offers a number of food service programs, including Home Plate, Meals-On-Wheels, Family Fare and Kidz Plate. The agency s Family Assets subsidiary helps community members realize their dreams of owning a home, earning a college degree or starting their own business. FSW is headquartered in Bridgeport, Conn., and serves the residents of Bridgeport, Fairfield, Easton, Monroe, Stratford, and Trumbull, Conn.
