Finchville Animal Hospital offers a full service veterinary hospital catering to small animal and equine care. Our office boasts a very knowledgeable, warm, and friendly staff with a clean and inviting environment. We offer separate rooms for cats and dogs, as well as a separate intensive care area for animals. We have state-of-the-art equipment, including digital ultrasound, radiography ( including digital capabilities ), endoscopy, blood machines and cryosurgery, as we are constantly updating our clinic. We offer a wide array of small animal services, such as vaccinations, dentistry, full surgery, medicine, and reproduction management. We take anesthesia very seriously and monitor each animal under anesthesia with full monitoring equipment, including blood pressure, EKG, oxygenation sensors and pulse checks. We feel this is essential to our client's peace of mind and do not charge an extra fee for animals that require anesthesia. Equine reproduction and medicine is a specialty of Dr. White. She is adept at ultasound and palpation for reproduction on horses. We collect stallion semen and perform shipments. Dr. White performs embryo transfers and artificial insemination with frozen or cooled shipped semen. She works on more than 250 mares during each breeding season, and keeps very current on all reproduction concepts for this reason. Dr. White also performs castrations and other surgeries on horses, as well as general medicine and vaccinations. Finchville Animal Hospital cares for more than 100 high performance horses. Lameness problems are also an issue we address, including but not limited to laminitis, joint injections, muscle issues, and hoof care. Our hospital utilizes boarding facilities at Dr. White's farm for breeding, if needed. We hope this helps make your decision to choose a veterinarian easier.
