Delaware Guidance Services for Children & Youth Inc

Established in 1953, Delaware Guidance Services for Children & Youth is a mental health center that offers behavioral care services to children, youths and families. It also provides health status assessment, parenting training, and psychological and psychiatric evaluation services. The center offers medication administration, treatment, and individual, group and family counseling services. Delaware Guidance Services for Children & Youth provides community-based day treatment services and behavior, group and family therapies. Additionally, it offers psychotropic intervention, academic testing, educational and transition services, as well as conducts several recreational and cultural activities. The center provides family and school liaison services and accepts Medicaid insurance plans for children and adolescents who are less than 18 years.
