Nebraska Humane Society

Nebraska Humane Society was founded in 1875 and provides education, gives sanctuary to animals, encourages adoptions and promotes responsible pet ownership. It also serves the citizens by upholding laws enacted for the protection of people and animals. It generates income through various adoption programs, such as Bone Jour dog daycare, Manners N More Obedience Classes, Camp Kindness and Rainbow Bridge Cremation Services. It provides blankets, food, kennels and medical care to animals. It assesses animals for health and temperament and it adoption program provides shelter to animals.
