Established in 1947, Luby's is a casual dining restaurant chain that offers a variety of food items. It serves fried chicken, lemon-basil tilapia, roast turkey, bacon, roast beef, meatloaf, baked almonds and rib eye steaks. The restaurant s menu features lemon-pepper salmon, ham, fried fish, broccoli carrots, coleslaw, saut ed spinach and pinto beans. Additionally, Luby's offers green beans, mashed potatoes, salads, spaghetti and chicken strips. Its desserts include chocolate cake, cheesecake, and apple, cherry, pecan and key lime pies. The restaurant maintains locations in cities throughout the United States, including one in Dallas. Luby's also manages a club that offers gifts and cards.
