The Plastic Surgery Group, founded in 1958, is Chattanoogas first and largest plastic surgery practice. Lead by five board-certified physicians, the nationally recognized group leads the way in state-of-the-art cosmetic, plastic and reconstructive surgery procedures. The Plastic Surgery Group is the regions top referral source for trauma cases and is home to the regionally-recognized Hayes Hand Center. The group serves the tri-state area through multiple locations including the Medical Mall at Erlanger, named Best Hospital in the region for three consecutive years by U.S. News and World Report, the MaryEllen Locher Breast Center at Memorial Hospital and Erlanger at Volkswagen. The Plastic Surgery Group serves as the Department of Plastic Surgery at The University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga, one of the countrys few private practices to serve in this key role.
