Founded in 1960, Valley is a contract food service management company. The company serves around 300,000 meals per day across the United States. It provides its services to hospitals, colleges/universities, industrial as well as commercial/office building cafeterias, senior nutrition services, meals on wheels programs, and correctional and daycare facilities. The company has more than 2,500 production employees, 50 registered dietitians and 200 managers. Valley is based in Jackson, Miss. and serves more than 200 clients. All the meals are prepared to suit the client s program requirements in its United States Department of Agriculture inspected kitchen. Valley offers the "Choice Matters" healthy menu program which allows healthcare staff and patients to make informed dietary selections.
