Waialae Country Club, founded in 1930, is a country club located in Honolulu, Hawaii. It offers an 18-hole golf course, tennis courts, swimming pool, men and women exercise facilities, golf retail shop, and dining and banquet facilities. The golf course at the country club was built by the Territorial Hotel Co., as part of a promotional program to develop luxury travel trade to Hawaii. It has played host to various Hawaiian Open tournaments, under various sponsorships, including the First Professional Golf Association Tour Hawaiian Open Golf Tournament. Waialae Country Club also features a computerized irrigation system for the golf course, with accompanying reservoir and pump facility, and shower and locker rooms.
