Wadsworth Center Laboratories offers a variety of research services. It offers various programs through its divisions, such as environmental disease prevention, genetic disorders, infectious disease and molecular medicine research. It provides quality certification for blood and tissue resources, clinical laboratory evaluation program, environmental laboratory approval program, physician office laboratory evaluation, and regulatory affairs. The laboratory s specialized testing programs include proficiency testing schedule, bacteriology, blood pressure and gases, cellular immunology, clinical chemistry, diagnostic immunology, endocrinology, fetal defect markers, and therapeutic substance monitoring. It is governed by the Wadsworth Center of New York State Department of Health, and is located in Albany, N.Y.
