The Golf Club At Southwind

Established in 1979, Southwind Country Club is a private club with a reputation for fine dining and its 18-hole championship golf course. The golf course, designed by Don Sechrest, is reminiscent of Scottish links. The course features greens, tee boxes and fairways of grass. The course measures approximately 6,920 yards. The club also features a clubhouse with an atmosphere of elegance for the business, professional and academic leaders of Kansas. It houses three dining rooms, a lounge, meeting rooms, grill, men s and women s locker rooms and a pro shop that features some of the latest in golf equipment and attire. Other amenities include an oversized swimming pool with adjacent bathhouse. The club facilities provide variable arrangements for as many as 135 for breakfast, nearly 90 for luncheon meetings, 70 for seminars, 135 for dinner functions and approximately 400 for cocktail receptions. Southwind Country Club is located in Garden City, Kan.
