<p>Owner-instructor Amy Melnick has 20 years of experience as a nurse and fitness instructor. She started Sound Body Sound Mind Fitness&nbsp;to show people the link between health,&nbsp;wellness and how exercise promotes a balance within the body's systems. Amy's passionate about teaching and educating how exercise impacts every system in the body. Her motivation is to&nbsp;promote health and wellness&nbsp;information as well as lead challenging, effective, and safe workouts. &quot;I have found adults to be motivated by answering the question; &quot;How does this impact me?&quot;&nbsp;and making practical applications to health and fitness.&quot; &nbsp;Sound Body, Sound Mind Fitness gives&nbsp;her the opportunity to teach fitness classes&nbsp;but also educate about&nbsp;practical benefits to the body both inside and out.&nbsp;As a current ICU nurse Amy is also able to link health and fitness with current healthcare applications.
