Greetings from Jeff, Joe, and Louisa Perrella, grandkids of Minnesota's famous pizza guy, Sammy Perrella.


Our grandfather, Sammy Perrella, started the first Sammy Perrella's Pizza & Restaurant way back in the fifties, and when he did he used his own family recipes that date back generations, back to Capestrano, back to the old country, where our ancestors were the finest pizza makers.
Back in the 1950s, most people in northern Minnesota didn't even know what a pizza was! That is, until the Perrella family started their first café. Our grandpa, Sammy along with his wife Louise introduced the area to authentic Italian country cooking. Since then, Sammy Perrella's has become the first choice for authentic Italian cooking for generations of families. We still use the same recipes our grandparents brought with them from Capestrano. And we still make everything with the same care that has made our family proud.
