Home Reflections opened its doors in October of 2004 in State College, Pa Steps away from Penn State University ( PSU ) territory, nestled between an ensemble of shops and restaurants where you can find the freshest of flowers, the richest of chocolate truffles and the best roasted coffee in town. We chose this location because of its feel of a true community setting in which to grow a new business. Jan, a registered nurse, has spent 15 plus years mostly in the emergency room setting, decided to take a break. Well that break is in its 3rd year and a second store, Reflections has just opened its doors. We have seen tremendous growth over the past year, thanks to our wonderful customers who include the entire community and beyond. State College is a tourist destination that is not limited to the football season. We have many annual events including the famous Arts Festival in July that attracts thousands to Happy Valley and for that we are grateful! Home Reflections focus is its customer and what they are looking for in a shopping experience. We provide personal service at all times, making the selection process easy and fun whether buying the perfect Vera Bradley bag for Mom, or a wedding gift for a perfect stranger. Our lines include the entire offerings of Vera Bradley Bags and Accessories, including Rolling Luggage, Home Decor, Stationary and Leather Line by Beakgaard, Crabtree & Evelyn, Root Candles, Reed & Barton Crystal and Silver, Belleek China, John Medeiros Jewelry designs, and much more. Home Reflection was awarded Vera Bradley's Gold level status in less then 2 years. We created a Store within a Store which offers our customers a truly unique shopping experience. The Vera Bradley line is extensive and continues to grow, thus the need for more space became quite evident. Our customers have been our compass and continue to provide us with positive reinforcement as to where they would like us to expand next. So, in order to be true to the lines we continue to see growth from, we have opened our second venture on the same block, Reflections
