Will Check The Following:


Main Electrical Panel:


* Is your Panel large enough to handle the items?
* Is the service cable from your "point-of-attachment" to the meter base and into the Main Panel secure and waterproof?
* Is your Electrical service grounded?
* Are there visible signs of over- heating or water damage to any electrical components?
* Are the circuit breakers connected to the proper-size wiring?
* Are all the circuit breakers labeled, so you know to turn circuits OFF in the event of a emergency?
* Is there adequate lighting to see circuit breakers and labeling?


Pools, Hot Tubs, Appliances:
* Are all electrical connections secure - to the Pool? Hot Tub? Air Conditioning Unit?
* Are all your electrical junction boxes waterproof, grounded, and securely fastened?


Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters (GFCI):
* Are they located where needed? Kitchen? Bath? Patio?
* Are they working properly?


Main Utility Shut-Offs:
* Are all Main Utility Shut-Offs identified and operational?
* Could you explain the locations to a house-sitter?


Safety & Security Items:
* Are your Smoke Detectors working?
* Are your Carbon Monoxide Detectors working?
* When is the last time you changed the batteries?
* Is your Bath Fan exhausting properly? When is the last time dust build up was removed from the fan blades?


Attic:
* Is your Attic Fan ready for summer? Is the motor able to be lubricated? Is the thermostat properly set? Is there enough ventilation?
