Penn State University Electro-Optics Center

The Pennsylvania State University - Electro-Optics Center (EOC) began operations in 1999 under a cooperative agreement with the Office of Naval Research (ONR). The organization, along with its alliances of over 400 companies, universities and government laboratories serves to nurture the development of electro-optic materials, components, and transition technologies required for the advancement of the defense capabilities of the United States. Based in Freeport, Pa., The Pennsylvania State University - Electro-Optics Center is a part of The Pennsylvania State University.
