Mel's Commonwealth Cafe

Mel's Commonwealth Café is a family owned and operated Restaurant. We specialize in breakfast and lunch. We also provide corporate and social catering. Mel's opened in 1958 and is an upscale family style restaurant. We are famous for our breakfast menu. Our signature items include Egg Benedict, Pancakes, Waffles, French Toast and Omelets. Our menus include all kinds of variations on these traditional breakfast items. Our lunch menu also is very extensive, including sandwiches, wraps, deli, reubens, homemade soups, homemade chowders, and a large variety of unique signature salads. We also offer corporate and social catering on and off premises. Our catering staff is trained to handle all types of events including BBQ's, boardroom breakfast and lunch, cocktail parties, social parties, birthday parties, anniversaries, engagements, weddings, bridal showers, and christenings. Last minute orders are not a problem for us. Our dinning room is available for rent seven days a week after 2:30 pm. We also offer a delivery service.
