Mediterranean Restaurant

Since its opening in 1993, the locally owned and operated Mediterranean Restaurant has become a Boulder, Colo. institution. The centrally located Med, as the restaurant is called, has become an ideal gathering spot for lunch or dinner. The lively atmosphere, authentic d cor and creative cuisine all reflect the region that inspired the restaurant. The menu includes Italian, French, Greek and Spanish influences. Unique tapas dishes, fresh salads and seafood, paella, pastas, grilled and organic specialties, pizzas from a wood-burning oven and desserts have helped the restaurant earn its reputation. The menu is complimented by a wine list with a by-the-glass selection. The Mediterranean Restaurant also hosts a full bar and a tapas hour.
