L.A. Barbeque is a restaurant where the cooks prepare the meat dishes by smoking it in hardwood in the custom-made smoker for a long time. Based in Summerdale, Ala., the restaurant can cook approximately 700 pounds of Boston butts, or 600 pounds of ribs, or 800 pounds of chicken at one time. L.A. Barbeque also provides sweet, tangy or spicy sauce to go with the various meats. L.A. Catering is a division of L.A. Barbeque and the catering menu features a variety of meat, including pork, beef, chicken, ribs, sausages, shrimps, crabs and fish. Also featured on the menu are salads, sides, appetizers, desserts, and assorted trays of cheese, vegetables, seasonal fruit and a breakfast tray including muffins, Danish and bagels.
