FirstHealth of the Carolinas Inc. is a not-for-profit health care network. Based in Pinehurst, N.C., it serves 15 counties in the mid-Carolinas and has been licensed for three hospitals, namely Moore Regional Hospital, Montgomery Memorial Hospital and Richmond Memorial Hospital. The network provides majority of the healthcare services and treatments, including heart surgery, neurosurgery, neonatology, sleep disorders and dental care. FirstHealth of the Carolinas Inc. runs other health initiatives through its health centers, including six fitness centers, which offer facilities such as gymming/ exercises, swimming classes, acupuncture services and spa. Other support programs are critical care transport, Emergency Medical Transport (EMS) and medical transport services, Hospice program and insurance facilities.
