Green Door Drafting & Design is a firm dedicated to saving money and energy for the consumer. Founded in 2008 by Door County native Elliot Goettelman, Green Door Drafting & Design offers its customers design expertise combined with hands on knowledge, to create homes that are comfortable, energy efficient, and built with a ?common sense? approach.


Elliot considers himself primarily a designer, but he stresses his construction experience. ?understanding all areas of construction is the key to smartly designed homes.? He believes many customers will make the decision to use Green Door Drafting & Design because it offers smart designs done by someone who understands the building process from all sides.
In 2009, Green Door won the ICF Residential Award given by Wisconsin Ready Mix Association for a home he designed using energy efficient construction. ?That was a great opportunity for me to work with the homeowner and assist them in designing a green dream home.?
