Echo Lake Lodge & Cottages

With a main lodge and nine cottages, Echo Lake Lodge and Cottages offers a classic lakefront vacation. We have many shared amenities such as a sandy beach and swim float, several boats, a firepit (wood provided), and gas grills. We welcome group rentals, events, weddings, reunions, leaf peepers, hunters, fishermen, etc.

The lodge has 8 bedrooms. Some have private bathrooms, others share. Our living room is filled with comfortable seating, a piano, and a fieldstone fireplace. We offer a wide selection of books, games, and toys for all ages. The front porch features rocking chairs and a ping pong table, while the game room holds a pool table. Our expansive deck has bench seating, picnic tables, an event-size gas grill, and has our wheelchair lift.

Nine rustic cottages have quick access to the lakefront. In varying sizes, they sleep from 2 to 5 people. Each cottage has a private bathroom and well-equipped kitchenette. All have either a deck or screened porch, some have both! Gas grills and picnic tables are available for your use.

Many tall hemlocks provide shady spots while our lawn and beach area gets good sun all day. Fish from our docks and waterfront for bass, sunfish, and the like, or take one of our boats out to seek trout, splake, and others. Drive 30 minutes in several directions for excellent golf, disc golf, horseback riding, antiquing, fine dining, zoos, and museums.

In the winter, we are less than a mile from several snowmobile trails with easy access to the ITS system. Several cross country ski areas with groomed trails are close by, downhill ski areas are a 45-minute drive. Our property and lake offer the opportunity to break your own trails on skis or snow shoes, and we have a small collection of equipment available for you to use.

Staying with us is easy. Options include single rooms in the lodge or one of the cottages for just one night, or as long as you want to stay, with breakfast available at a small cost. Other meals can be arranged, as well. Group rentals of the lodge make the building yours exclusively, with a 2-night minimum stay. We can accommodate groups up to 50 people during the warmer months (May - Oct), and up to 16 during the winter. See our website for current rates.
