CAPRI Institute of Hair Design was founded in 1961 by Helmut E. Muenster. Mr. Muenster was highly regarded and well known throughout the tri-state area as “the man with the golden scissors.” He asserted a vision that could reach far beyond the mainstream of the industry and planted a solid seed rooted out of his love of teaching. Since the passing of Mr. Muenster in early 1983, CAPRI Institute, Cosmetology Training Centers have continued to flourish and demand the highest of standards under the assured direction and focus of owner Anne E. Muenster. Along with the energetic expertise of Director, Bridget Damiano: including the enduring dedication of Area Supervisor, Marjorie Amorosi, Office Manager, Janice Mc Curley, Controller, Donna Haberstroh and the established guidance of CAPRI Institute Staff, Faculty and Instructors; together, have mad CAPRI the preferred choice in beauty education. This collective effort has propelled CAPRI’s five campuses including Clifton, Kenilworth, Brick, Paramus and Roxbury into the permanent fixtures that they are today. In combination with its resilient reputation, CAPRI Institute has consistently demonstrated and encouraged excellence with true commitment for continual growth. We offer programs in Cosmetology, Skin Care, Nail Technology, Barber, Brush Up and Instructor Training. CAPRI participates in various Federal Student Financial Aid Programs as well as scholarships.
