Brushy Mountain Smokehouse and Creamery is the region's leading family restaurant serving hickory-smoked pulled pork barbecue, ribs, chicken and featuring handcrafted ice cream made fresh daily, and full service catering for any occasion.

Our award-winning, pulled pork barbecue was featured on the Food Channel's "BBQ With Bobby Flay" television program in 2005, and also on Bob Garner's segment of "North Carolina Weekend" program on NC Public Television in 2010. Mr. Garner also praised the Smokehouse's St. Louis Ribs, smoked chicken, side dishes and Fried Apple Pies. The Smokehouse offers a broad menu complete with a self-serve salad bar, daily soups, burgers, chicken salad, home-style vegetables including green beans, fried okra, baked sweet potatoes and corn nuggets, cooked-to-order chicken bites, and many daily specials like beef stew, chicken and dumplings, country-style steak and beef tips.

Our family friendly environment features children's meals that include ice cream, and children 4 years old and younger always eat free. The Smokehouse serves daily sandwich and plate specials that include a beverage.

Our Creamery makes super premium handcrafted ice creams daily using only the finest ingredients in over 75 different flavors. We bake delicious waffle cones and bowls and serve our ice cream in a variety of traditional sundaes, spaghetti ice, banana splits, milkshakes and gracing our fruit cobblers, cakes and fried apple pies. Samples are always free, and the Creamery can use any flavor to make custom cakes and pies decorated for any occasion.

With our professional staff who has over 60 combined years of catering experience, we offer full service catering for 75 to 1500 people with custom menus that suit the occasion, from backyard barbecues to formal dining.
