Smitty's Home Decorating Center

Smitty's Home Decorating Center was established by Elmer J. Schmitt in 1960. Elmer was building homes at the time and needed a place for his customers to pick out flooring and cabinets for their homes. After establishing Smitty's Home Decorating, Elmer retired from home building to concentrate on this business. There is three generations that presently work here along with a nephew and great nephew. Smitty's does not job out their installation. The installers are all family with many years of experience between them. 

Our cabinet line is MADE IN MISSOURI. Along with quality cabinets, we offer a wide range of counter tops including Quartz, Granite, Silestone, Swanstone, Hanex, Array, Cambria, Laminate and High Definition Laminate.

Smitty's offers an assortment of in stock vinyl and a large selection that you may order. We offer Armstrong, Congoleum and Tarkett vinyl.

Smitty's has a large selection of in-store ceramic tile at reasonable prices. Also available is an assortment from Mohawk, Marazzi, daltile, Orchid Ceramics, Florida Tile, American Olean, Bella Cera, and Ragno. 

Some alternatives from ceramic tile is Dura Ceramic by Congoleum and Alterna by Armstrong. Luxe plank is a vinyl plank flooring that is great for basements, baths, kitchens and anywhere there is a slightly unlevel surface. 

There is a wide selection of hardwood, engineered flooring and laminates from Bruce, Armstrong, Mohawk and Columbia.

Smitty's carries rolls of carpeting or you may order from a wide selection of Mohawk, Aladdin by Mohawk, Shaw Carpet, and Callaway by Millikin. We offer SmartStrand by Mohawk that is "eco friendly" made from corn.

Smittys offers complete kitchen and bath remodeling. Our vanities can be customized to your liking along with marble or Onyx counter tops. We also offer Onyx showers in a variety of sizes and colors. You can pick faucets from several sources such as Moen, Delta, Elkay or Grohe.

Our kitchen cabinets, made in Missouri, are a high quality solid wood or partial wood at reasonable prices. As always our estimates are FREE! Computerized drawings are available so you may see what your kitchen will look like. Our installers pay attention to details so you get a nice looking quality kitchen.

Smitty's has carried Porter Paint since 1970. Some of the best paint you can buy.

Smitty's furniture has a nice selection. We offer Stacy furniture made in Mississippi. Lane recliners made in the USA are comfortable and durable. There is a nice selection of couches, love seats and chairs. There are several styles of dining tables and decorating accessories.

Smitty's offers two lines of mattresses. Corsicana mattresses made in Tennessee for the budget conscience consumer and DutchCraft made by the Amish in Tennessee. We carry a nice selection of foam & laytex mattresses from DutchCraft.

Our fireplaces from Lenox offers wood burning, gas and electric.
