Shannon & Wilson s Fairbanks office, opened in 1974, offers geotechnical and environmental consulting services for more than 3,000 projects in Alaska. Services include foundation engineering, soil mechanics and materials testing. Its clients include federal, state and county agencies, as well as private companies and individuals. Based in Seattle, Shannon & Wilson has completed geotechnical service projects throughout the United States and responds internationally to natural disasters. Shannon & Wilson also offers railroad services, including environmental studies on the impact of railroad emergencies. It has offices in Alaska, California, Colorado, Florida, Missouri, Oregon and Washington.
