Beach Bar was established in 1946 by Harry and Marie Collins. The business was then sold in 1959 only to be re-acquired by Harry and Marie s son Tom and his wife, Peggy. Today, it is owned and operated by Tom and Marie s son, John and features live music on Wednesday and Sunday evenings. The restaurant s menu includes a variety of sandwiches, croissants, salads and pizzas. Beach Bar s wine list includes chardonnay, merlot, pinot noir, cabernet sauvignon and white zinfandel. It organizes various events, such as Great American Crab Races and Raft-o-Rama. The restaurant has a banquet room that features a fireplace and rustic furnishings with seating for up to 50 people. It has space for bridal and baby showers, birthdays and rehearsal dinners. In addition, Beach Bar sells T-shirts, baseball caps, sweatshirts and gift certificates of several denominations. It is located in Clarklake, Mich.
