Lancaster School of Cosmetology & Therapeutic Body Work

The Lancaster School of Cosmetology & Therapeutic Bodywork is an accredited school that was founded and incorporated in 1979. At this time, it was located in downtown Lancaster in a single-story building. In 1984, the owners of the school purchased an old elementary school building that was built in 1900, and had been vacant for some 30 years. The two-story building has since undergone a major rehabilitation and modernization, and provides 10,000 square feet of space for classrooms and student laboratory. The school can accommodate more than 60 cars in its parking lot. In 2002, the new owners purchased the school and have continued to make renovations and expand the program offerings.
